Perry Boyle Jr. is the Head of Equities at Point72. In this role, Mr. Boyle manages Sector Executives. Mr. Boyle joined the Firm in 2004 and has held many roles during his tenure, including Director of Equity Research and Head of Discretionary Investing. From July 2016 to December 2017, Mr. Boyle served as President of Stamford Harbor Capital.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Boyle was a founding partner of Thomas Weisel Partners and a Managing Director at Alex, Brown & Sons. He began his career as an investment banker with Salomon Brothers, BT Securities, and The Deerpath Group.
Mr. Boyle earned his A.B. in Economics from Stanford University and his M.B.A. from Dartmouth College.
Mr. Boyle is a board member of The U.S. Friends of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), the BOMA Project in East Africa, and the World Affairs Forum. He is an advisory board member for the Center for a New American Security, and the founding donor of the Tuck Capital Management Program, which provides students with practical experience in researching, proposing, and evaluating long and short positions in a multi-strategy investment portfolio. Mr. Boyle also helps lead the annual Ride for Our Vets, a major source of funding for the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center.
